Something tells me there are many of you dark ladies who have struggled with choosing a “proper” outfit for a job interview. Most of you alternative fashionistas have been stuck with the eternal question: “how can I look elegant and classy enough without completely changing my style and identity”? Well, the truth is we never have to erase our dark personality from the way we dress. There is always a way out. In fact, most of times we would receive a compliment for our refined eccentricity, trust me, I’ve been there.
The task of preserving one’s dark/alternative style in the office is the whole purpose of this blog. I’ve seen it work and I would like to share those tips with you, one outfit at a time. I actually wore the outfit you are looking at during a recent job interview, and it couldn’t have looked more elegant. I’ve always loved black and white stripes, there’s something quite exquisite about them, something very simple yet very sophisticated. They make you look like a Tim Burton character, and still dazzle’em with style. So there, hope you enjoy this outfit and that it will make your job interviews run even smoother!
