Hello, Darklings!

I have previously mentioned in another post, how much I absolutely love military fashion, especially military jackets & coats! That’s why laying my hands on this gorgeous Marks & Spencer military coat, was one of the best moments this winter! I’ve been eyeing several militaryΒ outwear pieces since the beginning of autumn, but never came across something that really spoke to me. It has definitely become my statement piece for most of my winter witchy outfits. The simple straight cut and the placement of the buttons, make it so elegant and badass at the same time (yes you can be an elegant badass!).

Taking pictures for this outfit took place on the perfect cold day. Like most Goths, I dread the sun, but I sometimes do not mind it when it’s hiding behind a covered sky, rendering it grey and icy.

I hope you are enjoying your Sunday, cocooning with a cup of hot black coffee!

Hello, Darklings!

This post, as you may have noticed, is largely inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s exquisite style! I’ve always had a weakness for dark vintage outfits, and this Newspaper Black & White dress from Modcloth couldn’t be more perfect for such looks! As I’m always looking for the classiest and most elegant combination for all of my Dark/Goth outfits, I find cinematic icons such as Ms Hepburn, Morticia Addams and Cruella Deville pretty inspiring!

The simplicity & yet mystery in this kind of style is IRRESISTIBLE! Just give me the perfect black sunglasses and hat, and I couldn’t feel darker & classier!

Rock Princess by Vera Wang: Review

VW2

Being a strictly musky scents kinda girl, Rock Princess by Vera Wang was definitely a pleasant & original surprise. I am generally quite demanding when it comes to perfumes, nothing sweet or floral pleases me unless it screams ‘sophistication’. That’s why I generally prefer musky perfumes.

Rock Princess has the gigantic advantage of combining two of my favourite things: the colour purple & a musky scent. How? It’s all in the title of the perfume, which is completely justified. The Princess part is illustrated by the sweet violets fragrance, which gives it a classy girly side. The girly princess part definitely becomes badass (hence rock), when we add to it a strong musky smell rendering the whole product worthy of admiration. This is the perfect fragrance for an elegant Queen of Darkness. Perfect for day & night, it adds this strong classy vibe to it that is hard to miss.

Rock Princess has definitely become part of my favourite perfumes collection. For more reviews by this blog’s perfume addict, subscribe to my eccentric blog!
